What is inside the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) 200-301 Exam Curriculum

The CCNA 200-301 Exam has 4 modules

• Module 1 - Networking Essentials
• Module 2 - Introduction to Networks
• Module 3 - Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials
• Module 4 - Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation

Ano yung coverage?

Module 1 - Networking Essentials

Ang Module 1 is a networking primer.

Ang objective nito is to introduce to you yung mga networking concepts, and yung mga networking

principles na kakailanganin mo para makapag-setup ka ng isang isang SOHO network.

SOHO means small-office/home-office network.

Yan yung  type of network na meron tayo sa bahay.

Itong Networking Essentials module na ito is meant for people with absolutely no prior networking knowledge, zero knowledge, and beginners.

Sabi ni Cisco, after module 1 ito daw yung mga matututunan mo:

Module 2 - Introduction to Networks

Ang Module 2 ay umpisa na ng Network Operations proper.

Sa module na ito,  i-introduce sayo yung mga network architectures, models, protocols, yung mga networking devices na gagamitin mo sa pag-implement ng LAN and kung ano yung mga functions ng mga devices na yan.

May konting configurations na sa module 2 using packet tracer para ma-validate yung mga lectures involved.

Sabi ni Cisco, after mo ng module 2 alam mo na itong mga core skills na ito:

Module 3 - Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials

Sa Module 3 , covered na dyan yung setup ng mga routers, switches, and mga wireless devices.

Kasama na rin yung configuration ng mga VLANs, Wireless LANs, and advanced switching concepts.

Module 4 - Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation

Sa Module 4, discussed na yung implementation ng routing protocols sa mga routers and switches natin. kasama na rin yung introduction ng Network Security, QOS, SDN, and yung introduction

sa automation.

Nandito na sa Module 4 yung mga bagong technologies na added sa CCNA 200-301 curriculum.

Sabi ni Cisco, eto yung mga matututunan mo sa Module 4:

Type of questions that can be found in the CCNA exam

Ang CCNA 200-301 exam ay combination ng Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Drag & Drop, and

Testlets.

Take note that in previous CCNA exams, meron tayong simulation type of questions.

Yung mga simulation type of questions are lab based. Kung saan magbibigay ng network topology si

Cisco using Packet Tracer, at kailangan mong makipag-interact sa mga routers and switches to configure them, or access yung mga outputs nila to answer yung mga questions given sa exam.

Currently, sa bagong CCNA 200-301 exam - walang mga simulation type of questions na kasama. But,

hindi ibig sabihin nung na hindi sya idadagdag ni Cisco in the near future.

Pag-usapan na lang muna natin ngayon yung mga type of questions na posible mong makita ngayon sa CCNA 200-301 Exam.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

May dalawang klase ng Multiple choice question na pwede mong makita sa exam.

Yung isa, kagaya ng sa Figure 2 – isang tanong, pero merong 2 or more answers. Kailangan mong i-check palagi. Pag sinabing Choose two, kailangang dalawa sagot mo dyan.

Pag sinabing Choose three or Four, kailangang tatlo o apat o higit pa (depende kung ilan yung

sinabi) yung sagot mo.

Eh paano kung Tatlo yung kailangan, tapos dalawa lang yung tamang sagot mo? Mali na ba lahat?

Hindi.

Kung dalawa tama mo, at may isa kang mali – counted yung dalawa. Hindi yan right minus wrong.

Meron ding isang tanong, isang sagot - katulad ng andito sa Figure 3

Drag and Drop Type of Questions

Ang mga Drag and Drop Type of Questions ay katulad nitong nasa Figure 4.

Ang mga posible ng sagot ay nasa isang side, kailangan mong i-drag sa tamang position nya sa kabila.

May mga Drag and Drop type of questions na kailangang tama ang pagkakasunod-sunod. Pag mali yung pagkakalagay mo – eh di mali 😊

Testlet

Ang mga Testlet type of questions sa CCNA exam mostly ay scenario based katulad  ng nasa Figure 5.

Yung Scenario ay indicated sa ibabaw (yellow part).

Sa kanang side, may makikita kayong numbers, kagaya sa Figure 5 – numbers 1 to 4, ibig sabihin, may apat na tanong itong Testlet na to.

Click mo yung bawat number para lumabas yung question number 1, click mo yung number 2

para sa Question number 2, and so on.

Kailangan mong sagutan lahat bago mo i-click yung Next Button sa ilalim.

Katulad din ng multiple choice questions na maraming sagot, kailangang sagutan mo lahat ng questions dito and hindi sya right minus wrong. Kung nasagutan mo ng tama yung dalawa, eh di may 2 points ka 😊
